Composer Eugen Doga became an honorary member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts

A great gift for the academician and composer Eugen Doga for his 80th birthday.

Maestro Doga became an honorary member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Academia Scientiarum Et Artium Europaea) in the Arts class.

The official ceremony of presenting the Diploma and pin of an honorary member of the prestigious forum took place on March 4, 2007 at the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg, Austria. Maestro was granted this honorary title along with 85 other new members representing seven classes of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. The honorary title candidates stood out due to their excellency in the field of science, their dedication and their promotion of European values and standards as well as their part in strengthening the decisive role of science and art in the country and in Europe.

Honorary insignia was presented by the president of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts Professor and Doctor Felix Unger, an honorary member of the Moldova Academy of Science.

The event in the cultural center of Austria was held as part of the Symposium on nanotechnologies, in which scientists from various countries took place along with the Academy’s senators. The event was graced by the attendance of Austria’s highest administration members as well as officials of different countries: ministers, vice-ministers and ambassadors.
